Thank you for sharing your records with us. We rely upon volunteered information to keep our database up to date. We hope you find this form a pleasure to use. If you experience any difficulties, or can suggest improvements, we welcome feedback via email@example.com.
A valid species record must include the actual name(s) of any observers. Unfortunately we are unable to use anonymous records, including records where an alias has been provided e.g. 'WildlifeWill82' or 'A. Resident'. If you are uncomfortable with your name being stored, and shared with partners, as part of your records then please do not submit them. Likewise if you are submitting records on behalf of somebody else enter their name(s) in the observers field and only submit the record if they are comfortable with their name forming part of the record. We do not provide recorder names to the general public or ecological consultants but do include them in data exchanges with partner organisations and record verifiers.
We ask for your email address so that we may contact you if we need to discuss any of the records you have submitted today. If you sign-up and login you won't be asked for these details again. You will also be able to upload photos and files associated with your records and retrieve all of your previously entered records via the 'Reports' page at any time.
Did you know you can organise your records into files? We realise this simple form is very popular so it will remain unchanged. If however, you feel that you would benefit from being able to organise your records into files visit the 'My Files' page. Typical uses include creating a file to group all records from a survey visit or creating a monthly file to group all of those local ad-hoc records you collect whilst out and about. Using files offers several advantages over this simple form including: the ability to revisit and modify your records, being able to revisit attachments you've uploaded and being able to create and customise a shared survey file. You can also access the 'My Files' page at any time via the user menu (top-right of any page across this website). Thank you for your continued support.
We've tried to keep things as simple as possible. Once you submit a record it appears in the 'Saved records' section. This means your record(s) are safe on our server. Once you've finished inputting your records just close this page and we'll do the rest.
The records you have submitted will appear here.
You need to log in to enable file management.
